Mountain Island Church of Christ

For Sunday July 26th and all future worship assemblies for the foreseeable future the following items are in effect:

1. Some pews will be taped off such that social distancing guidelines are maintained. Please sit in an open pew and maintain 6 feet of distance between folks to your right & left.
2. A table at the main entrance doors will have disposable face masks on it. If you do not have your own face mask, please pick up a disposable one for your use.
3. Pre-packaged communion sets will be used for the Lord’s Supper. The same table will have the packs placed on it. Please pick up the number you need when you enter the auditorium.
4. Restroom facilities, door handles, and other solid surfaces will be disinfected after each service.

The elders know there are members who will not wish to gather yet. That is perfectly okay. If any member of the congregation has concerns regarding meeting together, please feel free to join us online. The 10:00 a.m. service and the 5:00 p.m. service will be broadcast over YouTube.

Sunday Worship Service & Wednesday Evening Bible Class Announcement (3/25/20)

Effective through Sunday April 12th, the following guidelines for Sundays and Wednesdays are in place:

There will be no public gathering at the church building.

Sunday worship will be via our public Facebook page at 10:00 a.m. The ability for viewers to make comments during the service will be turned off.

Wednesday Bible class will be via our public Facebook page at 7:00 p.m. Viewers are allowed to make comments during the class period, but not afterword.

The elders will be at the building each Saturday between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. to hand out communion sets.

During the next several weeks any of the following methods of making a contribution are okay.

1. You can drop your contribution off on Saturday between 10:00 & 12:00 while the elders are handing out communion sets.
2. You can mail your contribution to the building or directly to Dennis Lively
3. You can drop your contribution off at the building during weekdays while Joe is there working.
4. You can make your contribution via this PayPal link.

If you have any questions or comments regarding these plans, feel free to call or email one of the elders.

Today's Video Streaming Service NEWS (3/22/20)

The live video service will now be hosted on our public Facebook page (not our private group page).

Please go here to view the video live.

Reminders (3/21/20)

The portable communion cups will be available for pick-up TODAY between the hours of 10:00AM-NOON.

Also, at that time, you can bring by your contribution check or cash for Sunday's collection. The church is also set up to receive PayPal fund transfers for your weekly contribution (Let's remember, we still have a weekly budget to consider, and benevolent needs are likely to increase substantially over the coming weeks).

Also, we will live stream the 10:00 AM Sunday service via the public Facebook page. There will be no physical service to attend at the church building.
